Bayview Bed BV-60BED

Bayview bed, shown in queen size with Java finish, features inset wood panels in the head- and foot-boards. Twin and double beds are shipped with eleven-piece slat roll for mattress support and feature two-position railmount which allows twin and double beds to accommodate the under-bed storage options. The queen and king beds have a metal support system and will not accept the under-bed storage options. Bayview low-profile bed

BV-60LP/BED - The Bayview bed, shown in queen size and finished in Java, is available with a regular headboard and low footboard option. The low-profile bed with wooden side rails does not accommodate the under-bed storage options. The bed is available in twin, double, queen and king widths.

Armoire Top

BV-AT37/1 (formerly B137)

Armoire top for use with 36 1/2-inch base cases is shown with a B337. One adjustable shelf included; additional shelves are available (B137SH). Back allows for cord access. Doors open to 170 degrees and are easy to remove and remount to install electronic equipment. Hardware to attach armoire to case included. Interior measures 14 1/2 d x 33 w x 36 h.

College Woodwork began in the early 1900’s as a woodworking class for students attending Lornedale Academy. For both philosophical and economic reasons, work was viewed as an essential component of education. By 1920, the woodworking class had grown into a business producing small household items—trellises, playpens, potty chairs, ladders and ironing boards. Furniture was a natural extension of the product line, and by the early 1960’s, production focused on simple furniture, designed for timeless style and robust quality.

Much has changed in the past century. Equipment and processes have been updated, markets are international, and competition is global. Despite the changes, College Woodwork adheres to the core values established a century ago. It remains committed to producing quality products at a reasonable price. Still affiliated with the school, College employs some students who earn an income while they learn values and skills that will remain with them throughout their lives. The lessons they learn reflect knowledge born of nearly a century of woodworking
