It’s heartbreaking to see a child struggling in school. I know because my son is one of those little ones. My name is Daisy, and my ten-year-old son finds school to be very difficult. My son, Ethan, is behind in reading and math. Thankfully he does well in other subjects. There are options for children who find learning to be difficult, sometimes it feels to me like there are too many options, and I don’t know what to do. I’m going to share some of the things we have tried, what seems to be working, and some of the other options we haven’t tried. We have had Ethan tested for a few things such as dyslexia, and he’s been fine. I can’t help but wonder if lack of interest plays a large part in his struggles. I hope I can help you with some of what I’m going to share.
